"Blank" 

The 2018 Final Work Release of Jianghan University's School of Design was convened in 79 Tank of Beijing on May 17^th, 2018. The subject of this dynamic show is "Blank". The beauty of art is originated from imagination. And there is no imagination as extensive as blank. The "blank" of image stands for space; the "blank" of words is manifested by silence. Blank is both sight and scene that are woven into rhyme and depicted into landscapes. Without frame and outline, the blank of surface constitutes great tenderness that subsides into the bottom of heart.  

The release this year assembled over 70 suits of apparels designed by 50 graduates of year 2018 from the Department of Accessory and Apparel Design and the Department of Fashion Show. Compared with previous years, the apparel works presented in this show laid more stress upon creative thinking. Some are inspired by the charm of western arts and cultures. Some are creations for excavating national cultural connotations. Some are designed for recalling history and looking into the future. The students presented to the audience all their acquired knowledge and practice learned during the process of overall apparel design, garment structure and techniques, exploration and attempts in fabric texture as well as perception in current fashion trends, so as to express their enthusiasm in fashion and pursuit of ideal.
