Introduction
Co-organized by China Fashion Association, China National Garment Association and China Textile and Apparel Education Society, China Graduate Fashion Week is held each year in early or middle May in Beijing. The whole event includes fashion shows, design contests, press conferences, specific exhibitions, thematic forums and professional appraisals and selections.
In virtue of its20-year experience and resources accumulated from the operation of China Fashion Week, China Fashion Association, along with the other organizers, puts forth every effort to make China Graduate Fashion Week a platform of promoting domestic and foreign fashion colleges and showcasing their education achievements, a stage for college students to present their creativity, a booster for them to obtain employment, and also an incubator for them to start their own business.
The Organizing Committee of China Graduate Fashion Week designates 751 D•PARK as the exclusive official venue, which is located at No. 2, Jiuxianqiao Road, Chaoyang District, Beijing (adjacent to 798 Art Zone), equipped with complete facilities. Co-established by China Fashion Association and Beijing Zhengdong Electronic Power Group Co., Ltd., 751 D•PARK has become a world-renowned exhibition center of vogue and culture.
1. Fashion Shows
Held for new graduates from celebrated domestic and foreign fashion colleges. Each show lasts up to 30 minutes for no more than 70 outfits.
2. Design Contests
Cooperated with famous brands and professional organizations, China Fashion Association holds design contests of high fashion, ready-to-wear and accessories, which lasts up to 60 minutes.
3. Press Conferences
Held for renowned colleges, sponsors and cooperated organizations, the press conference or press reception last up to 40 to 80 minutes individually.
4. Specific Exhibitions
Cooperated with famous brands and professional organizations, the organizer of China Graduate Fashion Week holds exhibition of education achievements, job fairs and supply and demand meetings, etc.
5. Thematic Forums
Cooperated with famous brands and professional colleges, China Fashion Association and the Organizing Committee of China Graduate Fashion Week hold academic exchanges, college student debates and fashion trend lectures.
6. Professional Appraisals and Selections
China Fashion Association shall organize the appraisal of 21th China Fashion Design New Talent Award and issue China Fashion Education Award, Outstanding Teacher Award and New Talent Award to winner colleagues, teachers and students.
Application
1. Registration
Please make sure the 2015 China Graduate Fashion Week Application Form and required paper works are submitted to the organizing committee at least 120 days in advance, which is before 15th January 2016 (press conference at least 60 days in advance, which is before 15th March 2016).
2. Approval
Qualified colleges will get invitation from China Graduate Fashion Week Organizing Committee. Registration fee then should be paid for the official schedule arrangement.
3. Confirmation
China Graduate Fashion Week Organizing Committee shall send confirmation letter (including the name, time, date and venue of the show) to participating colleges in written form or via e-mail before 15th April 2016.
Official Venue
1. Central Hall, 751 D•PARK (for fashion shows) covers 1000 square meters, 7.2 meters in height, flexible and outstanding space;
2. Workshop, 751 D•PARK (for fashion shows) covers 1500 square meters, 9.2 meters in height, flexible space;
3. PeopleTalk Bema, 751 D•PARK (for press conferences) covers 250 square meters, 3.5 meters in height, classic and elegant.
4. Tank Zone, 751 D•PARK (for specific exhibitions) covers 3000 square meters, 11-16 meters in height, grand and graceful.
Charge
1. Fashion Show (preferential price)
(1) Registration Fee (including arrangement and releasing of official calendar, edition & printing of official publication, media organization): 15,000RMB.
(2) Venue Fee (including venue rental, ticket printing, basic stage, light & audio equipments, on-site management): to be confirmed.
2. Professional Production (preferential price)
(1) Show Direction (including fitting, overall orchestration, music selection, backstage management): 10,000-20,000 RMB/event;
(2) Make-up and hairdressing: (professional make-up and hairdressing institutions recommended by the Organizing Committee): 3,000-5,000 RMB/event;
(3) Model (outstanding models organized by Model Committee of China Fashion Association):1,000 RMB/person/show (agent fee not included);
(4) Dresser (backstage outfit management and dressing service provided by professional teams recommended by the Organizing Committee): 150 RMB/person/day.
3. Press Conferences (optional)
(1) Venue Fee (including venue arrangements, schedule releasing, media invitation, audio equipments and conference services): 20,000 RMB
(2) Food and Beverage Fee (including buffet for 100-120 persons and on-site services): 20,000-30,000 RMB
[Special Note]
◆Direction Service: Both directors recommended by the Organizing Committee or selected by qualified colleges are allowed. On condition that directors other than the recommendation of the Organizing Committee are employed by colleges, the costs should be negotiated among themselves; the directors of their own selection need to be put on record by the Secretariat of the Organizing Committee and work passes giving access to the venues concerned should be prepared in advance for the direction team.
◆Model Selection: Both models recommended by the Organizing Committee or selected by qualified colleges are allowed. On condition that models other than the recommendation of the Organizing Committee are employed by colleges, the costs should be negotiated among themselves; the models of their own selection need to be put on record by the Secretariat of the Organizing Committee and work passes giving access to the venues concerned should be prepared in advance for the models.
◆Makeup: Either makeup institutions recommended by the Organizing Committee or selected by qualified colleges are allowed. On condition that makeup institutions other than the recommendation of the Organizing Committee are employed by colleges, the costs should be negotiated among themselves; the makeup institutions of their own selection need to be put on record by the Secretariat of the Organizing Committee and work passes giving access to the venues concerned should be prepared in advance for the makeup and hair styling staff.
◆Stage design: the Organizing Committee offers basic stages and lighting, audio equipments and computer graphics lighting LOGOs. LOGOs made of other materials, stage design creativity and catwalk renovation shall be at the expense of the colleges concerned.
◆Backstage facilities: Gantries shall be all provided by the Organizing Committee. Small clothes racks and ironing equipments shall be taken care of by the colleges themselves.
◆On-site dining: The catering of college staff and casting crew during fittings and rehearsals shall be afforded by the colleges concerned.
Business Cooperation
China Graduate Fashion Week is open to celebrated brands and agencies both at home and abroad for official sponsorship, project sponsorship, special products and specifying service.
