ArticleⅠ General Rules
Section 1
Co-organized by China Fashion Association, China Textile and Apparel Education Society and China National Garment Association, China Graduate Fashion Week is a state-approved international platform of public service, aiming to highlight fashion education outcomes, to showcase college students' design talent, to promote college students’ entrepreneurship and employment, to improve the quality of fashion education in China, as well, to meet the demand for innovative design talent during the transformation and upgrading of China's textile and garment industry.
Section 2
With the theme "cultivation of talent, innovation of design, combination of production, education and research”, China Graduate Fashion Week plays an active role in developing fashion education, promoting the exchange of design talents and supporting the growth of young designers, in accordance with the guidelines “elaborated arrangement, scientific organization, attentive service and strengthened cooperation.
Section 3
China Graduate Fashion Week is held each year in early and middle May in Beijing. The whole event includes fashion shows, design contests, press conferences, specific exhibitions, thematic forums and professional appraisals and selections.
Article Ⅱ Organization and Enforcement
Section 4
The Organizing Committee of China Fashion Week shall be in charge of the organization and enforcement of China Graduate Fashion Week. 3 members shall serve on Organizing Committee bearing the following portfolios: the President, the Vice President and the General Secretary. The President shall carry out his work with the assistance of the Vice President and the General Secretary.
Section 5
The Administrative Council is the policy-making organ of China Graduate Fashion Week, composed of all the hosts, undertakers, collaborators and participants. The following portfolios shall serve on the Administrative Council: the Honorary President, the Bureau President and the Council Member.
Section 6
The hosts, undertakers and leaders of collaborators shall serve as the Bureau Presidents of China Graduate Fashion Week and shall attend important events, such as opening ceremony, award ceremonies, related press conferences, on behalf of the Administrative Council.
Section 7
China Fashion Association and the President Meeting of China Graduate Fashion Week Organizing Committee shall be in charge of the deliberation of the organization scheme and shall invite the relevant celebrities to serve as Honorary President of China Graduate Fashion Week.
Article Ⅲ Rights and Obligations
Section 8
The Organizing Committee shall make a public announcement about the schedule and venues of China Graduate Fashion Week. Chinese and foreign fashion colleges must declare their intention by formal application to the Organizing Committee in advance and submit relevant registration documents. The application can be integrated into the schedule only when official invitations are issued by the Organizing Committee after comprehensive examination.
Section 9
The acts of plagiarism and infringement on intellectual property rights shall be strictly prohibited on China Graduate Fashion Week.
Section 10
The copyright of the collections (both products and design) presented on China Graduate Fashion Week belongs to the authors or colleges. The Organizing Committee of China Graduate Fashion Week Organizing Committee possesses the right of public information campaign and project promotion.
Section 11
All participants in China Graduate Fashion Week must abide by state laws and regulations, and safeguard China Graduate Fashion Week’s image, rights and interests.
Article Ⅳ Awards and Evaluation
Section 12
China Fashion Association shall organize the appraisal of China Fashion Design New Talent Award and issue China Fashion Education Award, Outstanding Teacher Award and New Talent Award to winner colleagues, teachers and students.
Article V Supplementary Provisions
Section 13
The present Constitution shall be submitted by the Organizing Committee of China Graduate Fashion Week to the Administrative Council of China Graduate Fashion Week for discussion and amendment.
Section 14
China Graduate Fashion Week shall be undertaken by professional institutions designated by China Fashion Association.
