The Final Work Presentation of Taiyuan University of Technology was convened in 79Tank of Beijing 751D•PARK on May 14th, 2018. The subject of this release is "We are not alike". Nearly 100 sets of works were presented. Some combine traditional handicraft with modern tailoring technique for expressing esteem and enthusiasm toward traditional culture; some utilize unique fabric language, structure characteristics and molding style to represent the fashion taste of the old era based on artistic works; some apply the reconstruction and structure reengineering of distinctive fabrics as well as exaggerated and skillful design method to deliver designers' actual value appeal and internal monologue. The graduates dare to try and innovate. They established an apparel language of their own with outstanding individuality. Their design works are practical, exaggerated or romantic, bizarre and complicated, which sufficiently present the new apparel design style under the context of the contending western and eastern dress cultures at the meantime of reflecting the characteristic teaching idea of the college.
