Hunan Arts and Crafts Vocational College Graduate Show will be held in the Workshop of 751D•PARK in Beijing on May 16, 2016.

Seeking the origin and passing on innovation, the ancient intangible cultural heritages "meet" the fashion art to produce colorful garment with different styles. This show displays 90 sets of graduates’ design work, all of which mainly roots in Hunan local intangible cultural heritage ,like the brocade of Dong minority,Hunan embroidery,woven bamboo ,batik tie-dye,Huayao Brede , chrysanthemum stone carving, Liuyang fireworks and other traditional techniques. The works contain the artistic combination of the patchwork and Picasso's abstract painting, the creative practice of chrysanthemum stone carving in dress design; and the school uniform of the brocade of Dong minority series co-researched and developed with Hunan Xurong Garment co., LTD. The overall designs not only show external profile with strong visual impact, but also have exquisite and delicate texture details; they have modern and future hale and handsome, and are also with the traditional and ethnic soft .The graduates try to make intangible cultural be vogue, and use rich emotions and unique language to boldly interpret the inheritance and innovation of intangible cultural heritage .

founded in 1975, Hunan Arts and Crafts Vocational College is one of construction units of the top 100 national demonstrative(Key) higher vocational colleges, and the research base of Hunan intangible cultural heritage protection. The college has for departments, two second-level schools and two sections, including Department of Fashion Art Design, Art school of Hunan Embroidery, and Common Course Teaching Department .

Now the Department of Fashion Art Design has 1800 students, and offers  4majors:Fashion and Accessories Design, Leather Goods Design, Image Design and Art Design( Textile Art Design). The major of Fashion and Accessories Design was founded in 1983,and it is the provincial  professional boutique major and provincial characteristic specialty .the faculty of Fashion and Accessories Design is the provincial-level teaching team.
