Creative Declaration

Xiamen Academy of Arts And Design, Fuzhou University Graduate Show was held in the Center Hall of 751D·PARK in Beijing on May 20,2017.

The theme of this show is Creative Declaration. It is our invariable theme in recent years, but different students have different understanding and interpretation. The work emphasizes the absorption of inspiration and the refinement of elements. It combines art with fashion and inherits the Chinese and Western cultures. The designers experienced the changes and developments of various trends and forms of art, and then integrated them into design work after thinking and innovating. In addition, they paid attention to the use of a variety of materials,and usedthe most popular and fashionable materials and techniques in the design, and strengthened the design and expression of the details so as to make it produce different sparks and give more significance to it.

This graduation works pay more attention to the inspiration and the details of technological innovation, making the students extend their inspiration to the connotation of the product, thus to show a variety of colors and looks. For example, the use of special techniques in the works is not only the protection of traditional arts, but also the yearning for art and life. Designers pay attention to the combination of practical and creative, for example, the use of various materials, fabrics, and the diversity of material performance is also the highlight of this season's work. In addition, there are traditional elements and modern design integration and changes in the structure of traditional clothes. The color is steady, but the vigor and wisdom of youth are not lost.

Xiamen Academy of Arts And Design, Fuzhou University is the earliestAcademy of design, art, arts and crafts in Fujian province. It is one of the keysecondary schools directly under the Fuzhou University.To maintain and carry forward the advantages of traditional arts and crafts education, and to develop modern design major which plays a major role in promoting the current cultural and economic construction, is a characteristic of the Academy. The Academy will further develop its strengths in art and design, and strive to build itself into a nationally renowned art and design college on the west coast of the Taiwan Straits.
